Rusty Taylor is a home town realtor, living in Hobbs since 1957. Playing basketball for Coach Ralph Tasker and receiving his associates from NMJC, established deep roots and a love and respect for the people of Hobbs. He attended Texas Tech to receive his B.S. in Secondary Education and returned home to work with his Dad in the family oil business prior to purchasing his own business, Vandiver’s Hardware.

Recognizing the changing climate in business, Rusty went into Real Estate in 1993. His first year in the business, he was recognized as Rookie of the Year and he has been a multi-million dollar producer every year to the present. The challenge of putting deals together, whether land, commercial or helping people reach their dream of home ownership is what Rusty enjoys most about real estate.

Rusty and his wife have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Rusty is an avid hunter and enjoys many outdoor activities. He works faithfully in his church and strives to be a man of integrity. Rusty can help in any type of real estate from first time homeowner to commercial transactions. Hobbs is his home and he strives to make it a better community with every transaction!
